The First Focus Group Meeting of "Capacity Enhancement
for Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in
Türkiye's Regions (CEDIS3)" was held on 18 January 2024.
The meeting was carried out with the participation of the Operation
Coordination Unit members, heads of units and experts from the West
Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA), Ahiler Development Agency (AHİKA),
Eastern Anatolia Development Agency (DAKA), Ankara Development Agency
(ANKARAKA), representatives from the Scientific and Technological Research
Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges
of Türkiye (TOBB), and Technical Assistance Team.
The purpose of establishing the focus group was to provide a
platform for sharing views and feedback on the needs of the training
participants based on the results of the Training Needs Assessment. In this
context, the focus of the meeting was to evaluate the previous training activity
and analyse the training needs for the next training modules.
