1st Steering Committee Meeting

The First Steering Committee Meeting of "Capacity Enhancement for Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in Türkiye's Regions (CEDIS3)" was carried out on 18 January 2024, focusing on key management aspects of the project.

Chaired by the Deputy Director General of Development Agencies Mr Mustafa Işık, the meeting was held with the active participation of Operation Coordination Unit Director Mr Mustafa Caner Meydan, Operation Coordination Unit members, representatives of Contracting Authority, Secretary General of West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA) and experts from the DA, Secretary General of Ahiler Development Agency (AHİKA) and experts from the DA, Secretary General of Eastern Anatolia Development Agency (DAKA) and experts from the DA, representatives from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) and the Presidency of Strategy and Budget Office, and Technical Assistance Team.

This Steering Committee Meeting, to be scheduled every six months, prioritised discussion on strategic planning, progress evaluations, resource allocation and coordination among stakeholders.
