As part of the CEDIS3 Project, “TRB2 Regional Meeting and Workshop” was successfully held in Van. The event commenced with speeches by Van Deputy Governor Ahmet Tozlu, Director General of Development Agencies Ahmet Şimşek, and DAKA Secretary General Halil İbrahim Güray, bringing together the project's stakeholders in Van and key actors from the region.

Within the scope of the CEDIS3 Project, the “TR61 Regional Workshop”, hosted by the West Mediterranean Development Agency under the leadership of Antalya Deputy Governor Mr. Mustafa Hulusi ARAT, was successfully completed on 11 October 2024 in Antalya! In addition to West Mediterranean Development Agency, Eastern Anatolia Development Agency, Central Black Sea Development Agency, Governorship, Special Provincial Administration and universities attended the event and workshop where project activities and field visits to be organized in the region within the scope of the project were announced.

Spatial Analysis Training organized within the CEDIS3 Project has been successfully completed on 16-19 September 2024! Participants had the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of how spatial analysis relates to regional development and smart specialisation. The training provided in-depth information on the data sources, methodologies, and tools necessary for spatial analysis, as well as on the use of spatial analysis techniques to collect, manage, and analyse data to generate actionable insights. Additionally, detailed information was provided on the integration of spatial analysis into smart specialisation mapping implementations.

The training was held on 15-19 April 2024 in Samsun.
