Training: Stakeholder Analysis and S3 Governance

The training on "Stakeholder Analysis and S3 Governance" under the “Capacity Building for the Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in Türkiye Project (CEDIS3)” was held online between 24-27 June 2024.

During the training, which attracted more than 100 participants, information and experience were conveyed via presentations delivered on "Basic Concepts of Stakeholder Analysis and Governance", "Identifying Stakeholders in S3 Design", "Techniques for Stakeholder Engagement in S3 Design", "Multi-Level Participatory S3 Governance", "Policy and Regulatory Frameworks for S3 Development” and “Implementation".

On 25 June 2024, a distinguished panel on “Collaboration Opportunities under S3” was held with the participation of esteemed experts from various institutions and departments of the European Commission.

The panel featured Mr Bernhard Fabienk, from the Directorate-General of Research and Innovation (DG RTD) of the European Commission, Mr Alessandro Rainoldi, Head of Unit for Territorial Development of the European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC), Mr Arnault Morisson, Thematic Expert for a Smarter Europe at the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform of European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg) and Mr Nikos Maroulis, Thematic Group Partner and Deputy Director of the S3 Community of Practice (S3 CoP) at Technopolis.
