2nd Advisory Board Meeting

The Second Advisory Board Meeting of "Capacity Enhancement for Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in Türkiye's Regions (CEDIS3)" was held on 3 April 2024.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Department of Planning, Programming and Urban Development Ms Zeyneb Ersayın, and attended by Advisory Board Members, founder of the concept of Smart Specialisation Mr Dominique Foray (Professor at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale Lausanne), former Head of Unit of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre Mr Xabier Goenaga (expert on innovation policies, SMEs and 3rd mission of universities) and Expert on Cluster Policy and Regional Innovation Mr Reza Zadeh (Executive Director of the European Foundation for Clusters Excellence), as well as members of the Operation Coordination Unit and Technical Assistance Team.

Among the topics discussed during the meeting were the schedule of the project's training activities, the progress of the S3 Development Manual and the National S3 Roadmap, the methodology of the upcoming study visits, and possible contact channels for the organisation of internship programmes in addition to the study visits.
