Study Visit to Germany/Netherlands

📢 A study visit to Germany and the Netherlands was conducted between April 14–18, 2025, within the scope of the “Capacity Building for the Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in Türkiye (CEDIS3)” Project, coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye.

📌 The main objectives of the visit included an in-depth discussion of the Smart Specialisation (S3) concept and implementation approaches, evaluation of the methods and tools used, sharing knowledge and experiences with policymakers, and strengthening the integration of Turkish institutions into EU networks by enhancing their capacities.

📍 As part of the visit, meetings were held with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), NRW.Innovativ, German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), DLR Projektträger, Metropole Ruhr Business, ZENIT, Amsterdam Smart City (ASC), and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (AMA).
